Problem with domain mapping renewal
-
I received a notice saying I can renew my domain mapping for $17, or upgrade to Premium for $116. I want to renew for $17 but when I clicked on the link, it only offers the upgrade option. How do I do the $17 renewal?

I have the same or similar problem. I want to renew my mapping proactively and possibly add an automatic renewal, but upgrade is the only thing present after choosing manage payment methods.

Hello jstuartsmith2015!
I checked your account and didn’t find a domain on it. You need to log in with the user account that bought the domain. It’s on the other admin user registered on your site.

I asked the other admin to check, and he confirmed that he sees the same issue – no option to renew at existing rate ($17), only an option to upgrade ($129). I don’t want the upgrade, just the renewal – how can we do this???

jstuartsmith2015, I tested with the other admin account and I was able to see the renew option. He needs to go at:
https://wordpress.com/purchases
Select the domain mapping upgrade, it will show a red warning with the option “Renew Now”. That will take him to the check out with the C$17.00 value.
