Hi,
I have my domain rendidagroup.com registered with Amazon and I’ve mapped the name to my WordPress site rendida.wordpress.com but the mapping is not working after 72 hours.
I’ve followed the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/ and I’ve checked the propagation status at whatsmydns.netPls help. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Although rendidagroup.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.
We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYour name servers are as follows:
NS-713.AWSDNS-25.NET
NS-277.AWSDNS-34.COM
NS-1102.AWSDNS-09.ORG
NS-1958.AWSDNS-52.CO.UKTo learn about how to correctly map an existing domain, please see our documentation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain If you’re not sure whether you own this domain or not, the WHOIS database record may help you out. http://www.whois.net/whois/rendidagroup.com

Hi thistimethisspace,
Thanks for your feedback.
Can you send me the tool you used to check the namservers?
I am currently talking with Amazon’s tech support and they’ve indicated that the nameservers are appropriately set to WordPress. That is:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMThanks.

I’ve just looked up your domain and I still see these nameservers:
Name Server: NS-1102.AWSDNS-09.ORG
Name Server: NS-1958.AWSDNS-52.CO.UK
Name Server: NS-277.AWSDNS-34.COM
Name Server: NS-713.AWSDNS-25.NETCan you have Amazon remove these and keep just the WordPress.com name servers? If they’re using theirs and ours at the same time, your domain won’t work properly. After they’ve removed the extra name servers, you’ll want to wait a few hours for the settings to take full effect.

Hello Velda,
Thanks for your feedback. I have contacted them and they’ve said that the nameservers have been changed and that it is a propagation issue.
Its been 48 hours and it surely can’t take this long to propagate -
Hello Velda,
I’ve finally resolved the issue with Amazon and name servers have been appropriately changed.
Apparently name servers for “hosted zones” and for “registered domains” are not the same.
Thanks for your comments. -
