Problem with domain name

  I created a website entitled religioninearlyamericato1662.wordpress.com
  In launching the site, I accidentally changed the domain to reformationinamerica.wordpress.com.
  When I tried to change the domain back, I was informed that the original domain was unavailable. The issue is that I listed the original domain in a book that has already gone to the press. Would it be possible to change back to the original domain name?

  Hi there,

  The address change you refer to took place ten months ago, on 6 December 2019.

  Deleted sites can only be restored for 30 days after deletion, so at this point there is no longer any way that we can restore the address, religioninearlyamericato1662.wordpress.com, to your account.

  This is not a matter of policy. It’s literally impossible – the button on our end that allows us to restore a deleted site disappears after 30 days and the URL becomes permanently locked in our system. So there’s nothing I can do for you in this case.

  Turns out I got confused (hadn’t worked on the project for a while). The current URL is fine. Thanks for your response!
