Problem with embedding Google maps

  I’m really struggling to embed a Google map even though the process seems so straight forward. On Google Maps I go to the Link button and copy the HTML code. I then go into WordPress.com and paste the code into ‘Text’. I have pasted it into ‘Visual’ as well with the same result. I publish/update the blog. Instead of the map appearing it comes with a hyperlink titled ‘View Larger Map’.

  Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong?

  It seems so easy to do, I don’t know why it’s not working.

  Hi there,
  You cannot use the new Google map engine. You must use this older version > http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/
