Problem with featured images on blog post-Independent Publisher 2

Hello, I’ve created a blog using the Independent Publisher 2 theme. It says that featured images should be 1400X600 px (or 1440×600, I have both mentioned!) but everytime I try to upload a picture in this size it looks bad. It’s like the image is zoomed in and I only have the center of the pictured…Can you help me please? Or tell me the exact size for this theme? Thank you…

Can you please provide us with the exact link of that page or the post where you are facing the issue?
As per the theme setup instructions:
1. The recommended size for featured image is 1400 by 600 pixels.
2. Featured Images and other images greater than 1100px wide will display in a big, bold way, outdented from the surrounding content.For more information on theme setup please refer to the link below:

Hello :-) Thank you for your answer. I don’t have a post with the issue right now because I don’t use the featured images. Precisely because of this problem. As I said, I use pictures that are 1400 by 600 but it doesn’t work…

As you see, it’s completely zoomed in…You’re supposed to see all my keyboard and computer screen as well as more of the letter holder behind the blue note book…

You just need to add the height of the header under custom css feature. Custom CSS is only available if you are under business or premium plan.

No I’m not under business or premium plan…But still, it’s not normal, I use the image size that WP is advising, so it should be possible to display them properly without upgrading to a plan…I’ll see if someone from the staff answers my question…But thank you for your help anyway, I appreciate it :-)
