Problem with fonts…
-
I’m at:
http://thefoolishgalatian.wordpress.com/
For some reason, most of the posts on my blog seem to have all italicized bold fonts. The past few posts seem to be OK though.
Also, everything in my sidebar has the same problem.
Any ideas?

Likely is an open italics tag.
Looks like it is in the <more> tag in this post http://thefoolishgalatian.wordpress.com/2008/08/05/my-thought-on-our-bibles-and-how-we-interact-with-them/

open your editor. click the HTML button
right before the
<more>their is a
<em>delete that

Sorry to be a pain, but I’m not seeing it.
….and I’m confused how it would effect my sidebar.
-
It does. Those guys know what they’re talking about.
What’s happened is you made some of the text italic, but the MORE tag went in between the opening italic tag and the closing one. It will be one of these two:
<em> or <i>
and the closing tags will be either</em> or </i>You have to go in and make sure both the opening and closing tags are on the same side of the MORE; it can’t be in the middle, splitting them, otherwise the opening tag affects absolutely everything after that, and the sidebar code is included.

OK…I fixed the italicized part, but now it’s still bold.
What should I look for there?
And thank you all by the way!!!! :)
-
Got it!!!!!!!
I just deleted out the more and re-typed the text. That ironed it out.
Thank you again you 3!!!!

Ah, span! You’re not pasting from Word, are you? That does this sooner or later to everyone who uses it. There’s even a whole post in the FAQ on why not to use Word.

Okay, I just guessed Word because it puts in all these Span and Mso tags (whatever they are!) all the time.

Thanks Raincoaster,
dogbarber, Is it possible you accidentally hit the wrong button when you when for the *More ! option in your Editor? then went on and hit the *More? option without thinking about it?
In the future:
If you hit the wrong button (for example: bold), make sure your you press “undo”.Its very easy to accidentally leave an open Tag (example ) and it can potentially make all the fonts on the blog look funny.
Happens to everybody.
