problem with getting a separate blog page (Theme: Snaps)

  Hi. I have tried to get a separate blog page on my website by enabling the portfolio projects page and using that as separate blog page. but when I create a new page to use as a separate blog I don’t have the option to choose which template I want the page to be. For example I don’t get to choose if I want the template to be default template, portfolio template or front page template in the page attributes column. I only have the options to choose parent and order. The theme I use is Snaps. I have also installed the Custom CSS plugin if that makes it easier for you to solve the problem.
