Problem with Gravatar – XML-RPC API

  Please help. I’m trying to confirm my WordPress site with Gravatar and it gives me this error:

  “Something went wrong when trying to locate the XML-RPC API on your blog. Please log into your WordPress admin panel, then go to Settings > Writing > Remote Publishing and check the box next to ‘Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols.’

  I go into Settings and I do not see Remote Publishing listed.
  I also checked that the XML-RPC-API was enabled on my site. It says “POST requests only”.

  Is there anything else I can do?

  Note: I have a WordPress.ORG website. When I went into settings to change my avatar under User Profile, it took me to Gravatar site and that’s where I’m having the issue.

  Nevermind. I solved it. It was a plugin that was causing the issue.
