Problem with Hatch theme homepage
-
My Hatch theme is not displaying images on the homepage properly. The third row seems to have a hard break after the first image, then subsequent images display on the fourth row. I’ve tried reordering posts to see if it’s a code problem with an individual one but it makes no difference. Ditto clearing cache, cookies, different browsers, etc etc. I can’t see how to check the code for the homepage to see what’s going on. Feeling like a proper dunce… Any suggestions/similar experiences? Thank you!

Thanks for the reply – I did try that already based on previous forum advice but it didn’t fix it – only meant we had 8 on the first page and an odd arrangement on the second. But I need it to behave like this > http://harrykenneyherbert-blog.com/. Thank you for trying to help!

Yes, I know how the theme is supposed to behave. But I wanted to see what happens when the infinite loader is off, to locate or eliminate one possible issue.
I examined the sourcecode of your page and saw that the order of the posts is completely messed up, so I suspected a couple of things, and I was able to replicate the situation in my tests blog. It appears that the main page on Hatch cannot handle posts correctly if there are multiple posts with the same date. You’ve got four posts dated May 26, and the rest (except the sticky) are dated May 25. You need to edit the posts and make sure each one has a different date. Go to Posts > All Posts, click Quick Edit under each post title, change the day numer, click Update.
