Problem with IE and not Firefox

    Hi,

    I wrote initially my blofg using firefox and recently was curious about how it look likes with Internet Explorer.
    The result is terrible and most of blog is unreadable

    Yes….IE is like that, I’m afraid. Safari, Opera and Firefox usually do the same thing, but IE is rather anal. You must NOT forget to close tags in IE, og catastrophes will occur. I don’t have IE on my machine, so please explain how it is diffrent than in firefox. If it is fonts going haywire, go through your code wiht a toothbrush and make sure all tags are closed….

    I just have copy/paste text from a MSword doc. Things went well on Firefox but totally bad with IE. It is certainly because i used characters with accents, but i was surprised that things went wrong with IE only. I guess there are no others solutions than rewriting everything properly on IE and praying that Firefox will act properly.

    Never copy and paste from Word. It will always screw things up. Word inserts all sorts of weird code that messes things up.

    Why not to use Word

    I checked your site in both Firefox and IE and they looked very similar. Make sure you are using the latest version of IE as it has improved (slightly-sigh). I only copy and paste things like tables from word and do anything else on a plain text editor if I’m writing off-line though with accented characters that’s difficult. In the visual editor of WordPress there is an icon for special characters and you could put the accented characters in that way.
