problem with image placement and text wrapping

I am having problems inserting images. On this particular page, I put the cursor in front of the first paragraph and clicked the insert image button. I chose medium size and left alignment. I expected the text to wrap around the right side of the image and for there to be a title and caption under the image.

What happened was that I got the image only with wrapping of just the first line of the text.

Then I added another image by adding a blank line between the 6th and 7th paragraphs and adding the second image, choosing thumbnail and left alignment.

This added the 2nd image above the first, with some code sprinkled here and there around the two images with partial title/caption information for the first image.

So, my solution is to cut the code from the top of the edit page and paste it where I tried to place it in the first place. So that makes my 2nd image appear in the correct place, but no wrapping of text and no title/captions for either image.

Here is the page where I cut and pasted and now the images are where they should be, but no captions and no wrapping: http://cokl.wordpress.com/collage/

Here is a page with three images at the top although I added two of them below the text and the code with partial title/captions are included: http://cokl.wordpress.com/dogs/

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

On “Collage”, the code of your images does not include an alignment command. Go to the visual editor, click on the images, click the edit button (mountain icon), type caption, select Left, update, update post.

On “Dogs”, it’s not clear to me how you want the images and the text arranged; please explain.

    Thank you so much!!!

I didn’t have a Visual Editor, but found in support how to turn that back on. I still have work to do, but now I’m excited about doing it.

    You made my day.
