Problem with importing another WordPress blog content

Hello, I tried to import content from another WordPress blog. I got an email with notification that the import failed due to an error. It was about 8-9 hours ago. I want to try again, but I can’t because the program is still trying to perform the import…’We are processing the import’ – it says. Can you help me? With regards, Jan

Hi Jan,
There is some Javascript in one of the pages in the file you tried to import, and that script is causing the import to fail. You’ll need to remove that script before the import can work successfully.
It looks like that Javascript is coming from Google Friend Connect, on the site’s About (O stronie) page. Can you please try removing that script from the file you’re importing, or removing it from the page on your other site and then exporting a fresh copy of that content again? That way the import will work on your site here at WordPress.com.

Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately I deleted the file I was trying to import as I thought it would stop the processing…In the meantime the blog I wanted to import content from completely collapsed… So just bad luck…I’m starting a new blog all over again, fortunately I’ve got most of the texts in word.
