problem with inserting files

  Hello!

  I run itsalswingsandroundabouts.com domain on wordpress and have recently been facing problems with inserting media files. I tried different sizes, formats, even a screenshot and I still get “HTTP error” whatever I do. That never happened before and I am sure I have quite a lot of space left.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems with uploading files! Is the uploader giving you any additional information beyond HTTP error? Also, is this happening across all browsers or only in one?

  P.S. Also, if you haven’t done so recently, definitely try restarting your computer. Issues like this can crop up from time to time if you haven’t restarted recently.

  Thank you for answer!

  No, it’s just a red mark ERR on the right side of the uploading window. I tried everything, nothing helps… Only inserting through URL goes through, but I need to upload files from computer as well…

  Hiya,

  So very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was out of the office for a couple of days. I feel terrible that you waited so long!

  OK, so there were some issues with one of our editors (the one which you get to by going to WordPress.com and then clicking “New Post”), where it would intermittently have problems with uploading files. Was that where you were getting the errors?

  If so, we have now fixed that, and please feel free to give it another try. If not (or if you are still getting those errors), please let me know! I promise not to let so much time pass this time. ;)
