Problem with Jetpak – glitch xml_rpc-32700

    I’m out of ideas. I was using jetpack fine a couple of hours ago until I decided to reinstall it, and now I’m getting this error when trying to reconnect my Jetpack to WordPress:

    Your Jetpack has a glitch. Something went wrong that’s never supposed to happen. Guess you’re just lucky: xml_rpc-32700
    Try connecting again.

    Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://www.sinfully-delicious.net/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

    I checked my RSS feed and it had problems according to Feed validator.. installed fix my rss plugin and now feed is working fine again but I noticed the space in my xmlrpc are still there… which I assume is the cause for my jetpack problem. I have no idea to fix it.

    I’ve spent 2 hours googling and finding solutions, but to no avail.

    1. I have disabled plugins but no change.
    2. I’ve changed theme to twenty eleven, no change.
    3. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled jetpack, downloaded from jetpack.me, no change.
    4. Tried to check some php files, don’t even know what to look for.
    5. I’m not using any cache plugin.

    I’d appreciate if anybody could help me.

    Jetpack is supported at its own website at http://jetpack.me/ . Post to the forums over there and they will be better equipped to help you since the volunteers here have no experience with that plugin.

    Is there any forum there? Because I can’t find it.
    They do have support link & even that lead me back to wordpress.com, but I figured I’d post here as well in case there’s anyone who experienced the same problem could give some advice. Googling this particular problem lead me to this forum also, but with outdated questions.

    I thought they had a forum, but I see they do not. Use the contact link and contact them directly.

    Thank you, I already contacted them through that link, but I still do hope if anyone who have had the same problem before, or anyone with experience in removing the whitespace in RSS feed, I’d appreciate any advice. I’m not sure who else to contact since this involves wordpress.

    Thank God, that I have found a plugin that removed the whitespace in my xml-rpc and now Jetpack is working fine. In case there’s anyone who is having similar problem, have tried countless of suggested solutions for hours, found this post, please find a plugin called ‘XML-RPC De-whitespacer’. It is your savior.

    So I’ll close this topic.

    I have no cache plugin. The only two activated plugins are video thumbnails and jetpack.

    There are no blank lines or extra comment on the xmlrpc.php page.
    So tokyotenshi’s de-whitespacer does not help much here :(

    Have tried changing the theme back to twenty ten and twenty eleven – no joy.

    Any ideas folks?
