problem with menu

I have a problem – the button “startseite” (which means home-page) appears as a page and as kategory in all my menus in sidebar. when I ente menu on dasbord I don’t see this kategory and also it is not on the list of pages so I cannot deleat it. please help me, as this “startseite” all over the palce makes no sense. in fact I would liek to have “wellcome” as statc side and blog for blog articles. that’s all.

Hello there! In order to create a static front page, as well as a customized “blog” page, please read the following directions:
Notice that in step #2, you have the ability to name your page Wellcome instead of Startseite.

My problem is that there is no “Startseite” on my pagelist when I am in working modus – therefore I cannot rename it. The same is true about the “startseite” which appears in the menus in the sidebar, which is nonsense – I don^t understand what I have to do to avoid this.

I am absolutely desasperate because this blog is extremly important for my courses and I cannot solve the problem. I don^t understend how the instructions you send me correspond with my problem. I don’t know why and what for I should make a new custom menu and how should be named, and what I should do later. The second I do not understend why I I see the “startseite in the primare navigation and in the side bar even though it is not active in the menu content (screen shot). the third – in comparison to your instruction I only have two options and not three for the navigation and I don^t know which one to choose, so that startseite doesn’t appear in the sidebar menus. I have deleted the welcome page for timebeing but would like to activate it later. Hallo. Ich kann auch helfen. Wenn man kein Menü hat, füllt WordPress ein Menü hinein. Es ist notwendig, um dieses Standardmenü zu löschen, ein neues Menü zu erstellen. (Startseite ist ein Teil des Standardmenüs.)
Um ein Menü zu erstellen, geh zu Design > Menüs, und klick auf “erstelle ein neues Menü” und dann nenne das Menü und klick “Menü erstellen.”
Klick ein Häckchen neben einige Seiten, Beiträge, Links, usw. die du hinzufügen möchtest. Um dieses Menü unter dem Titel zu verwenden, muss “Primäre Navigation” auch ein Häckchen haben. Danach klick auf “Menü speichern.”

Also egal was ich mache, der Button “Start seite” verschwindet nicht. ich habe 2 varianten probiert, wie du mich angewisen hast – dass ich beim auswahl im menü “menü erstellen” die startseite nicht angeklickt habe oder angeklickt – es sah dann aber immer gleich aus nachher. Zudem steht die “Startseite” immer noch in allen menus in der sidebar und dort gehört es überhaupt nicht. ich habe ein anderen blog mit dem gleichen theme und ich habe dort nie diese problem gehabt. ich bin echt verzweifelt.

Kannst du bitte diese erste Häckchen löschen und dann die Änderungen speichern?
