Problem with menu on mobile/tablet view – twenty sixteen theme

    I created a primary menu which shows on my home page as a navigation bar and the posts in the drop down menus are fine and in correct order. However, in mobile/tablet view, the menu is ALSO showing up at the bottom of the home page which I do not want and additionally the posts are in reverse order in the mobile view. If I remove the menu from the bottom of the mobile/tablet view it also removes the navigation bar menu. This is so frustrating and I cannot find a fix. I need help.
