Problem with moving from SquareSpace to WP

  Hello,

  – I’m facing a problem moving from Squarespace to WordPress.

  – I’ve a .XML file from Squarespace. Tried importing as Movable Typepad and WordPress import file. Both takes me to a wp-admin page with no content, and nothing is imported.

  – What best I found on forums is this: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/squarespacecom?replies=13

  – Kathrynwp is the Happiness engineer who proposed the solution.

  Can somebody – help me explain what she could have actually done to solve the issue?

  I’ll be grateful for any suggestions.

  You did the correct thing – more than most actually – you checked to see if the question had been ask and answered and left a link to the earlier question

  Is there a plugin or something that I can use to have this done smoothly.

  I’ve about 30 posts only – but still don’t want do it manually.

  Also keen to learn the migration process for the sake any such problem in future.
