Problem with my code
-
Good evening:
I am having trouble witih the code in my blog “bizofpm,wordpress.com” Several headlines appear on teh wrong pages ina funny way. I don’t know a lot about html, but my impression is that there are problems when I see dozens of font indicators.
Also, can anyone suggest a good resource tostart learning about html?
Thanks for your help.

It appears like you may be pasting in from MS Word, which will cause problems: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/09/why-not-to-use-word/ .
Open the first post for edit, then go to the extended tool bar and click on the “clean up messy code” button: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/ .
When pasting from MS Word, use the “paste from Word” icon on the extended toolbar. If pasting from the web, use the “paste as plain text” icon.

Actually, I think the best thing to do is open each post for edit, copy all the text out, delete it from the edit window and then paste it back in using the “paste from word” icon so that it will clean everything up properly.

Thanks for your comments. I re-imported the postings and used the tool and that helped. However, I still have links appearing on each post taht take you to another post. I think that there must be a switch somewhere that I turned on for them to be their, but IO don’t know how to get them out of there.
Thanks,
Kevin

Where exactly are you seeing this. All I see on your main page as far as links in the post area goes is the “continue reading” links at the bottom of the posts.

Sacredpat,
Thanks for responding. If you click on the REAd more and go to the page, each of them has a link containing the title of a different page, one them them has two. I really am baffled as to why.
Thanks,
Kevin

Those links are so that your readers can go forward or backward through your posts from that page if they wish to. It is common to virtually all themes. They can be hidden through modification of the CSS with the paid CSS upgrade, but unless you have experience with editing CSS, it isn’t recommended since there is no official support and few CSS guru’s here anymore that help out in the forums.
