Problem with my front page displays

  Hello
  I just begin with wordpress.
  I use Arthemia theme and I have a problem with my front page displays.

  Last posts appear on first page (resumes and its thumbnails) but The last article published appears COMPLETELY and with its thumbnail.
  I ‘d like to get rid of the last article on my front page in order to see only the resume of the other last posts published (classed by category).
