Why isn't my Gravatar updating after I changed it?

  I replaced the gavatar so that now it is a picture of myself, but the new image does not show up when I post to other wordpress sites like etsy shops for example. How do I fix this?

  It looks like the issue was due to the image rating that you gave your new Gravatar. You set it as “PG” instead of “G” which prevented it from showing up on certain sites.

  We changed the rating to “G” and it will take some time for the changes to propagate.

  In the future, you can change the rating by logging in to your account at http://gravatar.com (using your WordPress.com user account), and then mouse over the rating.
