Problem with new editor.
-
I tried getting help on this a couple weeks ago. I’m hoping that a new topic title will help get a response because the new editor’s inability to properly identify the location in the hierarchy a page is in is making it unnecessarily difficult for me to edit my pages.
My site has numerous pages that I update continually. For example: ( http://hikingangelesforest.com/trail-segments/cobb-estate-trail-segments/lower-sam-merrill-trail-s/ ). Now when I go to the page and click edit it takes me to the new editor which doesn’t display most of my page structure nor does it accurately show the location of the page I’m trying to edit. As a result, if I edit and save my page, it shows up as a parent instead of one of the children. Granted, I can work around this by getting to the old editor and searching for the page, but that’s a lot more work. Is there any way to fix this? My blog is hikingangelesforest.com using Twenty Eleven Theme.
Thanks in advance for any help
Kyle

I’m having similar problems – posted about it here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/links-keep-changing?replies=2#post-2436361
Hope they can do a fix! :)

There used to be a box that would show additional editing features like adding color to fonts. Where did that go?
