Problem with new website/Hero template

  1.) I set up 3 pages on my website, only 1 is showing any content. I checked the status, and both of the other pages say PUBLISHED with a time that’s earlier than now.

  2.) I chose the HERO template because I write romances of the Old West, and the pictures on the template were so appropriate. However, no pix show up and right now I just have a sad-looking page with a black background and white print for no apparent reason. How do I get the pix from the template to show up? I tried following the directions several times, but nothing changed. (PS: I did clear my cache and cookies)
