I am still unable to view older posts, I have even tried changing the theme. This is becoming quite troublesome. Are there any other suggestions? This issue is also not isolated to my computer.

Sorry for all of the posts! I have been able to isolate the issue to devices connected on our network (at work). Any suggestions?

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your patience. There is likely a setting on your work network (perhaps a proxy?) that is disrupting traffic from WordPress.com.
Previously, you mentioned that the console only had a CSS error. Can you confirm no other errors are present when clicking on the Older Posts link?

A couple of questions to follow up. Thanks in advance for your patience.
To confirm, outside of your work network, pages work as expected? Within the network, it doesn’t work on any device or any computer? Does changing browser (within the network) change anything? Your iPhone off of the work networks works as expected?
When you click on Older Posts, what exactly happens? Do you see a spinner icon? Nothing at all?
@lokerzhao – any chance you can try using a different proxy? Does the 500 error in your console still appear?
@solosocial – Does this happen for you on a different browsers/computers? While on a different network (home vs work)?

Outside of the network – yes pages work as expected. Within network “older posts” doesn’t work on any browser or device (including iPhone).
When I click ‘Older Posts’ the button just disappears, and no change occurs to web address or anything else visible.

Thanks Sarah. My personal thought is a firewall at work is causing an issue. Besides the Older Posts button not working, is there anything else that seems amiss while using WP.com? If there are other things, that could help us determine where the issue is and if there’s a workaround.

Brandon, I received an email this morning from our computer services personnel; The issue has been resolved by configuring the Firewall to allow over 2048 bytes based on the Outgoing HTTP Proxy Policy.
Thank you for your help in this matter. I hope this helps if anyone else experiences similar issues.
