Problem with Photos disappearing

  We have been using WordPress for a while now and yesterday, all of the sudden, we were having trouble uploading photos and/or publishing photos and the ones we have on the blog did not show up at all. The main Header disappeared and most of the pictures disappeared. The only media we were able to post were YouTube videos. We have two blogs and the problem was experienced in both blogs.

  I noticed that there was a similar post on this forum back on Oct 8, 2010 at 10:43 am and the issue was closed unresolved. Is anyone else experiencing this? It is very frustrating.

  I forgot to mention that the problem disappear after a few hours and now things are working fine. Is it a temporary glitch?

  Exactly where are these images hosted?
  We frequently experience blogger here who have either deleted the images form their Media Library so they are no longer on WordPress.com servers, cannot be displayed and must be uploaded again.

  We also get bloggers who hotlink to images they do not have permission to use that get removed at the source.

  We even get bloggers who think they can copy and paste images from word processing programs like WORD into posts despite the fact their computers are not web servers.

  Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?
