Problem with pictures

I have a weird problem when I want to insert a picture, the second picture from the left in the “Insert Media” screen is now grey, no picture visible. If I upload a new one, it is visible and I can add it to the text, but the second thumbnail is always grey.

Don’t know whether this theme-related, yesterday it was fine, today not.

I have been unable to access my media on either of my blogs for the last couple days and I am assuming that upgrading Internet Explorer to 10 may have something to do with it. Other than that, any other ideas?

No I use Firefox, latest version. Just tried, same happens with IE9, but then the first thumbnail is missing. Looks like something for the IT department.

bertholdbouman – I’m going to do some testing on your account, so please don’t be alarmed if you start seeing some images you don’t recognize in your Media Library. :-)
pogirlshines – since your issue is a different one and you’ve already put in a private support request, you’ll be answered on that ticket.

Yep, thanks, and don’t remove the ones already in the library, they are all attached to articles.

Just sent another email regarding this continuing problem with inserting media. I am unable to view the media library unless I click directly on the media library, which show me the images, but does not allow me to insert any of them to my sites, pogirlshines.me & musingsfromamenopausalmaven.wordpress.com. I have emptied the cache as instructed and I see a more insert media screen, but non of the images appear. It allows me to try and upload from my images, but will not upload to the sites, only to the library. I should have access to the libraries from my posts for uploading and do not.

I would like to add that the pictures do not appear in the same order as they have been uploaded, especially the order of the first two top rows of the “Insert Media” screen seem to be mixed up somehow.
