Problem with posting

I’m writing about a problem with my blog https://dearmissfletcher.wordpress.com/
Sometimes I publish a post and while I’m logged I can see correctly the post in my homepage but then if I log out and visit my blog the post simply isn’t there.
In some circumstances while I’m logged instead of the post I’ve found an empy page with an error indicating something like this: ops, page not found, what you are looking for doesn’t seem to exist (maybe error 404).
So usually I put that article in the trash and I post it again, sometimes I have to do this two or three times.
I’ve tried also to use two different computers and two different browsers (Chrome and IE) but it happened again in the same way.
Moreover I can add that usually I post at 9.00 a.m. (time of Italy, where I live) and when I tried to post at 08.00 it never happened.
I think that this is an issue for support so I add the hashtag moodlook, I hope it’s correct.
I also add a link of a post that I had to publish more than once, it happened also today.

Hi @missjsfletcher, that is quite odd. I think I can help though if you’ll send more information.
To start, next time you see an error, will you take a full size screenshot?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/You can upload it to your media library. The browser window will likely have more clues as to what’s breaking. When you’ve uploaded that screenshot to a new post (you don’t have to publish that post) let us know, and we’ll take a look.

The problem is that I don’t see always a page error.
I publish, I see the post but if I log out I don’t find it.
I can add that in this case I don’t see the post also in daily stats as published post and in “recent posts”.
I will tell you what’s happening, thank you again. -
Okay, can you tell me one of the titles that has gone missing?
Also, just out of curiosity, do you ever work on more than one simultaneously with wordpress.com/post open in multiple tabs?

I hope to understand well what you mean, I don’t think I work with multiple tabs.
Usually when I work on a single post, then before publishing a post I click on the preview just to check that everything is ok and then I post it.
This is one of those posts, I put in the trash and then I wrote it again, the title is: Via San Luca: l’edicola della Madonna con il Bambino

This is one of those posts, I put in the trash and then I wrote it again
You trash is empty right now, and I would need to look at the broken post to figure out what’s happening.
If this happens again, can you leave the post as is and get in touch here?

Hi Supernovia, it just happened again, but this time I’ve left the post in the trash.
I wrote my post yesterday, I saved it an I published this morning but I was able to see it only as logged in Wp, I opened my blog from a different browser and it wan’t there.
No error message as logged, I just saw it published.
So I left it in the trash for you, the title is: ciclamini e guanti. -
Thanks @missjsfletcher, thanks. That looks okay so far. Would you be willing to take one more step back and not put the post in the trash next time? Let us see what you’re seeing before you trash it.
Also, you said when you logged in from another browser the post was not there. Do you mean it wasn’t showing on the front page? Did you get an error? Did you see the post but the content was blank? Thanks in advance for clarifying.

Hi Supernovia, maybe it’s difficult for me to explain, I try again to tell you what’s happening.
I publish the post and, as I am logged, I see it as the last post on the blog.
Then I log out and I look for it on my blog and the post isn’t there.
Second case: I’m logged in with a browser, I see the post, I open a second browser (where I’m not logged in WP) on the same computer I look for the post and it’s not there.
Third case: One computer is logged and I see the post published, I open a second computer (where I’m not logged) I open the blog my blog but the post is not there.
There is not a page error, it’s just not existing!
So next time do I have to leave the post there without putting it in the trash?
Is it everything clear for you? Sorry, but I can’t explain better than this, thank you for your help. -
Yeah. Since the post isn’t there anyway when you’re logged out, can you avoid deleting it?

I will do it.
A friend of mine is a among the subscribers of the blog and so he receives mails with my posts. He told me that sometimes he has multiple notifications and obviously it happens when I publish a post more than once.
So I don’t see that post but subscribers receive notifications even if I have deleted the post.
I told him to click on the mail generated from the trashed post and he told me that the mail brings to the second post published on the blog.
Is this information useful in some way?
I add it because everything is a bit strange to me.

They will definitely get a notification as soon as you publish it. If you then delete that post, the link they receive won’t work. If you post it again, they’ll get another notification. So all of that makes sense.
Next time this happens, don’t delete it, and don’t repost it. We’ll troubleshoot it. It could be something as simple as an internet caching issue.

I haven’t cleared my browser cache as I’ve had the same problem with two different computers and two different browsers, so I thought that there is another problem that I can’t solve by myself.

Hi Supernovia, what do you mean with “same network”?
The computers are in the same place and for both I use the same internet connection.
This morning I published my post without problems, let’s see what happens tomorrow, I’ll let you know.

Yeah by that I meant to ask if they use the same internet connection. Thanks for confirming — and do let us know as soon as you see this again.
One other thing you can check: if you see this again, try checking your site from a smart phone if you have one. Make sure it is not using the same wifi.

I can’t check with a smartphone as I don’t have one.
Just to give you all the informations I can tell you that today I published my post again without problems and it seems that I don’t have problems when I publish a draft without making further revisions.
I don’t know if this is a useful information, I’m just trying to notice every detail.

Hi Supernovia, here I am again, I will try to explain what’s happening now.
So, until now everything seemed okay.
I published my posts nearly every day and I found them on my blog without problem.
This morning I published my post, as usual around 9.00 a.m. (time of Italy, obviously) : it was there, no problem for me.
Two hours later, at 11.00 a.m., I received a text message on my phone from a friend of mine and she wrote: I’m trying to open your post but I don’t see it, I see “page not found.”
Later she commented my post and other readers commented it, so this means that they see it but if you take a look you will notice that all the comments were written after midday.
So, please, maybe could you check that post to see if you find something wrong between 09.00 a.m and 11.00 a.m.?

Your friend clicked on a link; was that in their email? Do they still have that link? Can you share it there?
