Problem with posts arriving late for some users

I send out a weekly post on Tues or Wed for a Sunday event. Some of my ‘users’ don’t receive the post until Sunday evening. How can we fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot change the date of receipt. Your viewers may be living is different timezones than the one you are in.

Another thing to mention is that the email client each person uses may not be delivering the email as quickly as you may expect.

They are in the same time period. And they have checked with their isp and were told it is a wordpress issue. How do I fix this, it is a real problem .

Followers manage their own subscriptions and specify the frequency of receipt of posts from sites they follow.
See what Staff said here please:
Ask them to click the “manage subscriptions” link at the bottom of one of the old emails. Then on the webpage that appears, click on “settings” and make sure that “block all emails from WordPress.com” is not checked. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/email-to-my-followers-stopped?replies=5#post-2552242
Other checks your followers can make include:
looking in their email client spam filters;
and, if they use gmail or google apps they can consult these guides:

https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/If they are not successful, and they have wordpress.com accounts they will need to login and communicate with Staff in this thread.

Thank you for the tag, timethief :)
I”ll be happy to look in to this. I’ve checked 10 different email subscribers and there were 2 that did not receive an email for your most recent update on 5/24 and 5/16.
If the folks getting in touch with you about this have a WordPress.com account you can direct them to https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions under Reader Subscriptions they’ll need to make sure they are allowing WordPress.com to email them and not blocking any notifications.
If they do not have an account let me know and I’ll be in touch privately to collect the affected email addresses from you. There’s no need to post them here though, as this is a public support forum.
