Problem with Posts page

  I have two issues. I just started this blog and for some reason, the text I enter in the ‘Add New Post’ page insists on wrapping midway. That is, the text moves to the next line when I appear to be only halfway through the text box (for the body of the post). This happens even if I toggle to full screen mode. It’s driving me nuts! It’s never happened before with my other blogs (in the same account), and they’re still fine. I’m only having trouble with this blog.

  Well, I tried fiddling about with the screen options on the ‘Add New Post’ page because I though that might be the issue. And for whatever reason, now my publish module, add tag and add category module, etc. have all shift to the bottom of the page! As in, they’re now below my text box for the body of the post, and I’m unable to shift them back to the sidebar to the right of the text box which is where they were earlier (the default setting). I keep trying to click and drag, but they refuse to budge. Unfortunately, this change has occurred across all my blogs, even the ones which were fine before. How do I change it back? There doesn’t seem to be a reason for this… is it a glitch? And I still haven’t been able to fix the original wrapping problem. Help please???

  The Pilcrow theme has the text editor set so that it mimics the width of the actual post area on the front page of the blog so that you get a much closer “what you see is what you get” effect. That is why the text seems to wrap early.

  Make sure the editor page is set for 2 columns and then drag and drop the publish, categories, etc. modules up and to the right of the text box, move them around till the grey outlined box appears and then release the mouse button.

  Thanks so much. The wrapping bothered me, so I just changed themes to one that doesn’t offer that feature:)

  The dragging and dropping wasn’t working for me initially for some reason — the grey outlined box wasn’t appearing — but then I logged off and back on again, and this time it worked.
