Problem with Primary Sidebar and Error Post

    I installed a new theme that is suppose to have the Primary sidebar to the right and my blog post (the only one I have) to the left of it. I tried changing the setting of the post layout to the right, when I click Preview it shows up correctly. However, after it is published it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
    Another problem I have is that my post shows up, but then right underneath it it says Nothing Found and it tells me to write up my first post.

    I am super new at this so, I’m sorry if these are dumb or easy fixes but I can’t seem to figure out how to make it right.
