Problem with private blog setting

Hi, I have got three blogs linked on my profile on different topics, but recently, I set two of them to private because I didn’t want them to be my visible blog anymore. However, since doing so, when people try to view my new blog, they often see a page that says

“http://myfanwe.wordpress.com/ is marked private by its owner. If you were invited to view this site, please log in below. Read more about privacy settings.”

I don’t want people to see this message or need to be logged in to see the blog fabafterfity.wordpress.com which is my new blog. It is one thing to tell people to use that particular url to view my blog, or to use my domain name fabafter50.net to view it, but this negates the convenience for fellow wordpress users to simply click on my username “Myfanwe” in the tool bar and see my blog.

I exported the problem, private blog to a separate profile of its own, and was going to delete it, but now I can’t do that, either, because it has a domain attached to it http://diggingdottes.com and when I tried to delete it, I was informed I can’t do so because I need to access the domain mapping tool from it and was told to set it private. This is what is causing the problem to begin with, though.

Is there a means by which I can get the url fabafterfifty.wordpress.com to be the default URL that is loaded if people either type in myfanwe.wordpress.com, or click on the profile name, myfanwe?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to your dashboard Profile page and change which blog links to your name by changing the one listed under “Website”.

Brilliant I knew it had to be something simple, but just couldn’t figure it out. Many thanks!
