Problem with Private Page

  Hi there,

  I’ve been having a few problems with setting up a page as Private on my blog (sociedad11.com…it is a wordpress.com site). What I’m trying to do is have an area that anyone can see and then set up areas that only certain users can see (a members area). I’ve read the forum/support pages and followed the instructions there but it doesn’t seem to be working. I set up one page (Mexico City) as private and according to the support page this page should be visible to myself and any other administrators or editors I set up but I and the other administrator can’t see the Mexico City page when we’ve logged on. Can you please provide some guidance/ advice on what the problems is. Thanks very much.

  I cannot see a page called ‘Mexico City’ on your blog, so it must be working. Not?

  I may have been to quick in answering this. Is the page published? Do you see it when it is not set as ‘Private’?

  Hi there,

  I just put the page to Public and I could see it on the site. I then switched it back to Private and I couldn’t see the page. The issue is that I think I should be able to see the page when its private because I’m the administrator, correct? It’s odd because I’ve done this on other wordpress blogs and not had a problem.
