Problem with "removed" text on my home page

Five days ago I added a new picture to the top of my home page – to replace the picture that used to be there before. By accident I used the classic editor to change these images (I created a new block).
Obviously in editing I removed all of the rest of that page – 11.000 words – without any intention to do it! All of it is still visible and should be visible – but it cannot be edited! (I know it exists – I see it on the autosave – there now with a bright yellow background and striked through.)
How can I (or how can wordpess support) move all of that back into the former state?
PS. There is another problem – most of the words have a different text colour (blue, orange, red). Now if I try to use text colour changes in my pages – pages that were created with the NEW editor – text colour is NOT changed at all, the text just changes into a yellow background. This is just awful!
By the way: Many wordpress users complained on the German support pages about that problem recently.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • We’re working on the text color issue right now, sorry about that, it changed to a highlighter and that was definitely not our intention: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/issues/57036

For the lost content, is it possible to restore via revisions? https://wordpress.com/support/editors/page-post-revisions/#restoring-revisions

macmanx, restoring the page worked out well! Thank you very much for your help. I am glad that – apart from the picture at the top of the page – all of that page was created with the “classic editor”! So there was no problem concerning that awful text color/background color problem, when I edited the page again today.
Hope wordpress manages to find a solution to that color problem soon – so the status of this topic is just “partly resolved” today …
