Problem with robots.txt file

  I want my site to be public and accessible by search engines. I believe I have chosen the correct settings for this. However when I search for my site on google, the search result does not display the title and description of the site, and says “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt”,

  How can I correct the settings so that search engines can index my site?

  Google needs some time to update their index. WordPress.com has no control on how your site appears in the Google index and in which position.

  Please be patient, and in the meantime, our Webmaster Tools document has some more info that you can take a look at:
