Problem with “Structure Theme”

Hey. Added the new “Structure Theme” but once I had selected a background colour I can’t switch it to the dark theme option. Have tried everything. Any tips? Thanks

You have to remove the background color before you go to the theme options page and choose the dark color scheme. I just confirmed this in my test blogs. :)

I am using the structured theme but am not able to get anything into the top left hand block. Any ideas?

My idea is that you post the URL for the blog you are referring to starting with http:// because the site linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog.

I have the same problem with the left hand block. I want to add an image – but WHERE?????? Please give me a hint. Thanx.

Is there anyway of removing the entire area where it says:
“This is the home page widget area. You can use this space to add an introductory message to your blog with a Text Widget or add any other widget here.”
And remove the large image it shows to the left of that which is from my Uncategorized category and its post title above all of this? Everything from that message to the title which is below the tabbed pages at the very top.

The answer to your first question found in the comments made to the post I linked to above. :)The only way that entire section can be removed is by purchasing a CSS upgrade and editing the CSS stylesheet.

I’m not exactly clear about which image you mean. The big gray box cannot be removed if that’s what you mean.

Yes that last link you posted is what I was thinking of. I have it highlighted in red in the Richard Abowitz title:
I really love my Inuit theme but can’t get past how when you link to a comment, it doesn’t go to the exact comment but only to the top of the page. And links in the comment widget goes to the top of the page instead of the exact comment. I use comments many times as a story and now when I link back to a comment or my previous posts, people won’t know which comment because it lands at the top of the page instead of the exact comment. I complained on the designer’s website but he never replied. lol

As for the problem with Inuit Types, you must report it to WP staff, not to the original designer of the theme:

Why is it that my feature images always have their proportions changed?
And can it be set to just simply feature the most recent post, not from a particular category?

@theslippy: The featured image is displayed in a box with fixed dimensions, so your featured images need to be in those dimensions. See here:

Still curious if you have to select a category though or if you can just have it be the most recent?

You have to select a category. If you want each and every new post showcased, you have to file all posts under the same “featured” category (in addition to any other category or categories).
