problem with subdomain

  Hi

  we have set our cname blog.funkychristmajumpers,com to point to funkychristmasjumpers.com and we get this error
  Please set your dns to
  blog 14400 IN CNAME funkychristmasjumpers.wordpress.com.

  what could be the issue??

  First, could you please double check that you have created the CNAME correctly with the domain spelled properly? In the message you posted above, an “s” is missing from the end of Christmas.

  I did also check for a CNAME pointing from blog.funkychristmasjumpers.com to funkychristmasjumpers.wordpress.com and I couldn’t find one. Can you please contact your registrar where you are managing your DNS records and ask them to help you make sure you have setup the CNAME properly? Also keep in mind that CNAME records don’t update immediately and they do need a little time to propagate (usually a few hours) after they are created.

  Hi

  the names seem correct, i have
  blog.funkychristmasjumpers.com. and
  funkychristmasjumpers.wordpress.com.

  Everything seems setup ok but it still aint working.

  Does this have to be all setup before i pay for mapping??

  I checked and I see that you were able to get http://blog.funkychristmasjumpers.com/ mapped to your blog. Maybe you just needed to wait for the settings to take effect before.
