Problem with the “Blog” tab
-
I’m a bit mixed up with the tab issue. I know that I can use a static page for my home page. So if a create, for example, “page one” and “page two”, I have now three tabs (including the “Blog” tab). Now, if a assign “page one” to be my home page, and “page two” for my blog posts, I still have the “Blog” tab. If I click it, it goes directly to “page one”.
I tried also just having “page one” set to be my home page and keep my posts under “Blog” tab. Same problem, impossible to access my blog by clicking the “Blog” tab, it goes directly to “page one”.
What can I do if I don’t want this tab ? Or if I can’t delete it, why having the possibility to assign another page as the home page ? Can I change the name of it somewhere and make it a static page ? Or can I just at least change the name of it ?

“Blog” doesn’t go to page one. It’s your home/ front link. It’s considered customary to leave a link back to the front page of any website.
It’s hard coded into the theme. If you were allowed to change it, since we’re on a shared enviornment, you would be changing it for everybody who used that theme.

Would it be possible to make it a static page and move my posts on another page I created? And why it is called “Blog” instead of “Home” or “Front Page” like your own blog? It is because of the template, I mean, the template I choose has this specific word and other templates have other words?
Because as I said, it is pretty weird to have another static page as the “home” page and when you click the “Blog” tab it goes again on the static page, no?

Pretty much. Each theme is designed by someone different and everybody does things differently.
All of these themes were designed for regular wordpress, not for the version of WordPress Multiuser that we run here. We run into stuff like this on occasion. I’d suggest sending this in via feedback, explain like you do up above and suggest that this is a theme bug and ask if it can be fixed.
