Problem with the cart – Showing Theme default picture and text and cannot change
-
Hi!
On my site dandyroyale.com I just found an error. When going from the “Checkout” back to the “Cart”, on the top a picture and text from the theme shows. I get errors when trying to get into the edit mode under “Appearance”. Any ideas?

Hello –
Thanks for writing to us. Good news! Looking closely at the site I don’t see what you’ve described.
I’ve added a few socks to my cart, used the back navigation to go back, and also viewed the cart and left again. The cart is actually in my side bar as a slide out, and then I can X it out and continue shopping with out any problems.
Please share more details if possible if this issue persists. There’s a chance that it’s only impacting you because of something local that needs fixed. You can troubleshoot that with these steps below:

Hi there –
The related products are working properly and those are a smart choice. It will help folks discover what they like and spend more money with the business. This is especially true if you ever add more styles or types of socks.
It might also be beneficial to use product add ons at checkout. For example, you could propose that returning customers buy a gift card to share with their friends. You already know that they enjoy your product.
Consumers like to see reviews and ratings. I would suggest finding a way to implement that sort of customer feedback on the shop as well.
I hope that helps. Write back here and we can keep working together on this project.

When going from checkout to cart it’s the wrong info in the top. It’s not my picture and not my buttons, not my text. I’m selling socks , not back packs. I’m not able to change these details. It has been working before but. Ow it’s a bit messy.

Hi there,
I just tried this on your site and did not get the same result. For me, when I get to checkout I see a minimal header that matches the other pages on your site.
What I see:

Were you able to sort this out on your own, or did you need a hand still? Are you looking at a different page URL? Can you share any other details to help us investigate? Thanks for the additional info!

When you are at checkout, click on “return to cart”, and then you get to that wrong page.

Thanks for confirming.
You can find that by editing the Cart page template located at this direct link: https://dandyroyale.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?postType=wp_template&postId=woocommerce%2Fwoocommerce%2F%2Fcart
This will allow you to modify the template to set a similar header as you have on the other pages of your site.
Also please note that in troubleshooting this issue, I discovered that the the WPForms-lite plugin was having some issues that was causing the site editor (then link above to edit the template) to not load correctly.
To access templates I temporarily deactivated this plugin. If you have the option to use a different plugin for creating forms (or our built in solution) that is a good option to try. If you need WPForms-lite specifically, since this is a 3rd party plugin we are not familiar with the code and able to investigate, but you can report this issue to the plugin devs directly here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wpforms-lite/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
