    Hi there,

When you first activate Affinity theme, your homepage displays posts in a traditional blog format.

To add ‘scrolling down the menu slides’ feature, you have to create a static page.

To set up your static homepage, follow these steps:
    -Create a page.
-Go to the Customizer’s Static Front Page panel and set “Front page displays” to “A static page.”
-Select the page created in Step One as “Front page,” and choose another page as “Posts page” to display your blog posts.

After that you have to add the panels from your theme options.

Each “panel” is a standard page. To add additional panels to your Front Page, follow these steps:
    -Create or edit a page.
-Navigate to Customize → Theme Options. From the drop-down, select the page you’d like to appear in the panel

Please refer this article from your theme info to setup your site:

    Hope this helps!

  • ballroommove – the reason that option isn’t working as expected is that you haven’t yet added any panels to your front page. Try following the steps gave you above to add front-page panels and let us know if you get stuck at any point. There’s a detailed setup guide here as well – see the section titled “Adding Panels.”
