Problem with theme 'Twenty Eleven' or am I doing something incorrect..

  Hi! I am using theme ‘Twenty Eleven’. I tried to change the reader settings to summary.
  While this reflects in the email that goes to the subscribers, it hasn’t reflected on the blog site itself.
  Since I have recently gotten into creative writing, I expect to write lengthy posts and feel that the summary format is better as readers can chose whether they want to read it or scroll down to next post, which becomes tedious in case of long posts. Thanks.

  Changing the settings for summary
  dashboard—>settings—>reading—>For each article in a feed, show summary
  only changes what goes out on rss.
  To change what shows on your front page you can use the read more tag:
