Problem with Tumblr Import

  It’s been roughly 48 hours since I started importing and the counter seems stuck at 849 posts. Just checking in to make sure I’m in the queue or not since before the 48 hour-period I did disconnect from and reconnect to Tumblr.

  Update: now it’s 24 hours after my initial post and still stuck at 849 posts. I’d appreciate it if a mod would make sure everything is ok with my place in the queue.

  Now around 96 hours since I begin import. Unfortunately, no mod has yet checked in with me to confirm whether I am connected, despite the tags attached to the initial post. I understand you are very busy, but a confirmation would be quite helpful. I’d hate to wait a week or more just to find out I actually was not in the queue and have to start again.

  Hi there,

  It looks like the import on your site has completed – some content has been imported, and no import is currently running.

  If you’re still missing posts, please restart the import now – posts already on your WordPress.com site will be skipped by the importer. It might take a while to complete, though, as we’re still seeing a lot of new Tumblr imports being created so there’s still a backlog. At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.

  Thank you so much @kokkieh! I have restarted the import, in fact the counter now reads as nothing imported and more posts being present. I understand there is a delay, because of the backlog and will wait several days before updating here, if need be.
