Problem with uploading a PDF

I have a recipe page on my blog (http://knownbyname.wordpress.com) and I have been trying to add a couple of new recipes over the past several hours – waiting a few hours between attempts thinking maybe it was just a little glitch. (Yes, I rebooted.)
Here’s what happens. I edit the page, I click to the place I want to insert the link, click add media, browse to the file, choose it, then upload it. The window up and it shows that it’s going to load – and then the window goes blank and it just hangs up…. and then nada, nothing. It won’t work.
The wierd thing – it works on my other blog (http://livingthedslife.wordpress.com) just fine – same time frame.
Am I missing something here? Some magic fix I just don’t know about?

I think you mean this blog is the one with the problem > is http://knownbyname.wordpress.com/
If both blogs are hosted by wordpress.com and you are doing exactly the same thing and only experiencing success with one then you may need Staff help. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/Uploading Documents reference link > http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/
