Problem with username

  Hello, dear WPs!
  Could you pls explain me, if once I used username ShirinFayzieva and after I changed it, can’t I put it back? I have a trouble. I want to name my site as my name Shirin Fayzieva, use my name as URL shirinfayzieva.wordpress.com, username, and title. Could you help me to put my name back? Thanks in advance.

  shirinfayzieva.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Once a WordPress.com URL is deleted it can never be used again. Same goes for usernames. That’s why there are so many warning messages AND a confirmation email before you’re allowed to delete a site.

  I’m sorry, but there’s no way to get that URL and username back. They are gone forever. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Hello I have a problem with my username. I have changed my username since 1 month ago before I changed it I have comment in someone blogs. But after I changed my username in the other blog who’s I have comment its still using my old username. How can it be like that?

  If you have a display name specified in addition to your username, the display name shows when you leave comments. As far as I know changing the username doesn’t change the display name as well.

  You can change your Display Name in your profile settings, here: https://wordpress.com/me

  Note that it will only change for new comments you make. As far as I know older comments will show the display name as it was at the time you made it.

  Hello–I share the computer with another user. Now, when I try to post a comment, even though I am logged in with my own name, a sign comes up saying I am trying to comment in my user’s name and must log in as such. Try as I might, I am unable to post a comment. Where could the problem be?

  Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then log in as your account and it should work: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  Let us know if it doesn’t.

  If you’re using Chrome or Firefox, consider creating separate user accounts in the browser, or even create separate user accounts on the computer itself. If you don’t, you’ll probably keep having this problem and will have to delete the browser history each time to get it working again.
