Problem with website links

  I’ve added my own ‘Links’ page to direct visitors to other websites. I made my list and found that a couple of sites linked perfectly well without doing any formal linking via the editor. But the rest of the sites came up as suspicious sites or failed to link.
  I then went through and linked each one in the editor and the text changed colour. A couple more links then worked, but the rest still stubbornly will not connect. I get the suspicious window come up and a ‘don’t go there’ message. As all the sites I’m trying to link to are bonafide and link perfectly well on my previous website (and I know them anyway) they are not in the least suspicious sites.
  What can be happening to cause this?
  Any suggestions?

  Check all the links and make sure they go to http versions not https versions of the sites.

  Thanks so much – that’s done the trick.
  But it’s confusing that some sites worked with the ‘s’ !!!
