Problem with Widget
-
hi everyone! I’ve opened a site recently, and the theme (Libre) works well, but it’s a little (big) problem…
when it’s Home (vivalemonadi) the widgets work only footers, but when it’s article (for example this: https://vivalemonadi.wordpress.com/2016/12/19/il-male-per-ignoranza-in-socrate/) or pages (https://vivalemonadi.wordpress.com/chisiamo/) there is a right widget, that I don’t know how to delete and (most of all) I don’t know where it comes from, ’cause in this Libre theme it seems that the widgets are only footers. I hope to be clear, sorry for my bad language
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @vivalemonadi!
For pages like the one you linked to you can use the Full Width Template under Page Attributes to hide the sidebar (looks like you have already found that one!).
For other items, like blog posts, you can edit the sidebar widgets by opening a blog post in the Customizer.
Click on My Site > Customize.
In the preview of your site, open a blog post by clicking on it’s title. When the sidebar widgets are visible, you can edit them under Widgets in the customizer.Customizer only shows the widgets that are currently visible on the screen :) Navigating around your site will let you change the widgets on different screens.
One last detail – removing the widgets will empty the sidebar, but not delete it on Libre – there will be some empty white space to the right of your blog posts.
To avoid that, you would want to use a theme that is specifically one column theme, or upgrade to a Premium Plan or Business Plan so you can use Custom CSS to make the main column wider.
:)
