problem with wordpress permalinks

  I have change the permalinks to post name. It will show in the browser like this :
  http://localhost/mypost/
  But when I check the post it gives me this error :

  The requested URL /mypost/ was not found on this server.

  I should only use the default one. Custom Structure won’t work. How can I fix this problem?

  You cannot change the permalinks structure on any WordPress.COM blog like http://sebastianshaw38.wordpress.com/ and those are the only blogs we provide support for here.

  You are referring to a local install of WordPress.ORG software and we do not provide support for them here at WordPress.COM.

  This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
