Problem with zip file download
-
My blog presto24.pl (presto24.wordpress.com) is running with Premium Plan with Motif layout. I added zip file to my media library. On the http://presto24.pl/download_test/ I inserted a link to the zip file (https://presto24.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/test.zip) already existing in the media library. When I click on the link to the zip file I can’t obtain it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you try re-uploading a different zip file? Also, could you let me know the size of the zip file you uploaded? For some reason, it’s not displaying normally.

Thank you for the prompt response. I added 2 new files on the page http://presto24.pl/download_test/ . One of them (new_test2.zip) contains zipped command script (.bat file). The second one (new_test3.zip) contains Alice in Wonderland piece of text (.txt file). Both are less then 1KB. It is possible to download zipped .txt file but there is no chance to download packed .bat file. Are there some restrictions for the content of the zip file ?

Hi!
There are some restrictions regarding the content of the zip file; I apologize for not mentioning that sooner! We do block executable files even when they’re embedded in zip files. We allow zips of the following file types:
File types that are not on that list will need to be store elsewhere.
