Problem w/two seperate posts blending together
-
Hi, I just posted and the post linked up the previous post I did 5 days ago. I’ve deleted it three times and it still happens. suggestions?
-
Oh gosh I’ve not seen that one before. It could be the size of your photo is too large, try resizing it.
-
-
-
I made sure that all three of my posts had the tags closed. Hit the tags closed button for each, saved each and it still is not right.
-
I just ran your blog through the validator at W3.
Try this.
I’m hoping some of our other bloggers that are so much better at finding these will stop in!
-
I just saw your comment about resizing the other post picture. Do you still want me to do that or has the validator told us that I have other issues?
-
Yes I’m over at your blog trying to figure it out. We use the same theme. I’d move around that picture, maybe even after verbiage. Or move the photo left, center, right – some thoughts.
-
hum…resized pic and moved text. The text just moved up beside other post. So then as you can see I realigned the center picture and the first post is now a mess….
I noticed the validator info it had alot of flickr issues. Should I ditch the pics from flickr and upload them to wordpress? What do you do with your pics? -
I use flickr but you could give it a shot. Ensure your code is cleaned out completely. Instead of viewing your post when you edit in the “Visual” screen, look at it in “Code” so you can manually clean out messy code, close tags, etc.
-
removed all picts uploaded now the posts are more of a mess. A little disheartened for sure. Haven’t felt this way since I had a pc. over a year ago.
-
well it certainly looks photo code related, just removing them helped.
this photo is HUGE – http://handpicked.wordpress.com/2008/01/20/up-next/

are you familiar with coding at all? I would use the
- tags on these posts.
I’m viewing the source of your front page right now, notable where the remaining photo displays.
I use the
- tags quite a bit to separate my paragraphs, pics, etc when they begin to bleed together.
<ul>is before and</ul>is at the end of the paragraphs, and before and after photos. Notice the</ul>tag has a back slash – that means you’re closing it. Don’t use the back ticks (assuming they display at all once I hit the post button in a second) . -
times like these are when I wish we could edit forum posts. There are words missing above due to codes.
Beginning from “tags quite a bit ..” is where it begins to make sense. Sorry.
-
If I could find a cheat sheet I understand enough how they go in but it has been awhile since I did . I just didn’t look into it again because I thought with the built in it would be easy.

Here is another good one.

Use these sheets for coding, talking on the forum using codes gets all scrambled and confusing!
