Problem w/two seperate posts blending together

oh yes. things get wonky using the visual editor all too often.
I see the sacredpath is online now. He’s good at this and hopefully will stop in to help.

Nope, not at all. It’s much easier if I could just get my hands on it. I can’t communicate well what I intend to say, but I can “do” what needs to be done on your blog because I do it so often and on the same theme. sacredpath can communicate effectively though.
Those two sites I sent you are excellent. basic html is all you really need, and it’s all I know. those sites will help you a lot.

I’m seeing some backwards code in the “up next” post. There are some backwards paragraph ending tags that are <p/> instead of
</p> -
as well is backwards (correct way to close the tag is </br>
I suspect that is new though? – the blogger was using the visual editor. Might be learning a bit of html at the moment ? ;)
Initial issue was the second from the top post was blending to the top right of the first. Once the photo was removed from that one, and the top one, the issue resolved.

I am not finding them anywhere. Do I need to have the paid blog to see them? Under the post box and under the code tab I am not seeing them? My husband is dragging mt to the grocery store I will be right back

OK, first off, Chaoticsoul has a problem with images in the last post overrunning the bottom area instead of the theme marking the bottom of the post as the bottom of the image. There were quite a few problems in the code in that post. I have cleaned it up and move the image up to where all the text is to the left of it. Remove all the stuff in in code view of your post, and copy and paste the following and it will get you close.
<a href="http://handpicked.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/pinkbluequiltfab.jpg"> <img src="http://handpicked.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/pinkbluequiltfab.jpg" alt="pinkbluequiltfab.jpg" align="left" height="212" width="150" /></a>I still seem to have a lot of pink in my fabric stash and I feel creatively I need to use it up and move on. With that said, I’ve picked out my next quilt fabric keeping in mind to use up the pink. I want to do a very funky odd shaped squares/rectangles log cabin, with pieced back and if it looks too “little girly” I plan on adding some carla sonheim transfers and just make it a baby quilt. We shall see. I did notice during a recent trip to Burkholders that pink is a huge color in many of the “cool” fabrics out there….okay, okay I’am moving on…… -
Ahhh, belay that!! and use this instead.

You know, that just isn’t working let’s try it again. This is the code for the image. Paste it at the beginning.
<a href="http://handpicked.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/pinkbluequiltfab.jpg"> <img src="http://handpicked.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/pinkbluequiltfab.jpg" alt="pinkbluequiltfab.jpg" align="left" height="212" width="150" /></a>Paste your text right after it.

done, it is okay…it just looked so cool before I posted today. I had text about and below the picture
the picture looked great. Can I reset the blog to clean up any mess and start all over? I do appreciate your help. -
You’re very welcome.
You can delete all your posts, or at least the ones you want to delete and then redo them. Do be aware that chaoticsoul has an issue with images that go past the end of the text in a post and anytime that happens, your blog is going to go b0rk. You either have to be wordier or use images that don’t go past the end of the text.
Another thing, if you are using the visual editor, right before publishing, go to the extended tool bar (last button on the right end of the main toolbar) and you will see about mid way on the lower bar an icon that looks like a blue-handled brush. Select everything in your post, including images, and then click that button. That is the “clean up messy code” button and it will take care of most problems.
If you want some text, then an image with no text beside it, then some more text, that is OK. Just make sure the image isn’t too wide for the theme you are using.

Yippy! It is back to normal! Thanks so much! I will watch the picture sizing. Please let dissfunktional know I appreciated all he/she did also.
