Problem:Flickr HTML badge into Flickr widget:no thumbnails

Hi.Please help. I’ve looked everywhere for a solution, even Flickr forums, and existing
replies there and from other wordpress bloggers w/ this problem don’t work for me: I only get text (titles of photos) rather than pictures in Flickr widget sidebar box.I’ve used 1)the RSS feed URL from my Flickr photostream page (http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/ …. etc) but, when I view my site, “More photos” text appears in Flickr widget box. I’ve used 2)the badge code Flickr provides for my 3-thumbnails badge. Embedded inside the loooong badge code I found http://flickr.com/badge_code……. etc. and used that as the URL I inserted into the Flickr widget. (Isolating the “http://” was guesswork on my part for Flickr says to copy the “chunk of code” which I initially interpreted as the row after row of code which the Flickr widget wldn’t accept.) I then view my site to see what appears in the Flickr widget box–hoping to see 3 thumbnails–but I only see text: the titles of the 3 photos + More photos. So….I’ve got the correct URL for the Flickr badge, but still only text appears–no thumbnails. I know it can be done cuz I see thumbnails in other wordpress blogs’ Flickr widget space.Is the problem the size of my photos at Flickr? They are all reduced to 72Kb jpegs (8.5″ x 11″ photos=612×792 and 612×864)). If size is the issue, what is meant by size? The actual dimensions of the photo in inches? in pixels? or the Kb it’s been reduced to? And how does Kb translate into pixels cuz I notice the theme I use (Simpla) says 500 pixels for photos (per side?)If it is 500 pixels max per side I can see this being an issue with photos uploaded into a post…But in the Flickr widget it’s thumbnail sized photos that should appear, so…what to do? Didn’t mean to get into the size issue, but this might be the problem. I’ve been at this for days…frustrating…Thanks for your help.

I have resolved your issue. It looks like you were not using the correct feed. Here is your photostream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/santafestudio/
Scroll down to the bottom of that page and you will see a link titled “Latest” (right next to “Subscribe to MarthaDonovanOpdahl’s photostream”). That is the correct feed that is required.
Your images are now displaying properly, as I have made the correct feed URL swap.
