Problems accessing blog

  I have a student who has been trying to access my blog and she seems to be having serious difficulty with access. I have deleted invitations sent to her previously in case they were confusing the system but as of this morning she still cannot access the blog. I have run out of suggestions and wondered if you could help?
  My blog is TAELLN Language Literacy and Numeracy and the student’s name is Susan Coleman with two possible email addresses: (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thank you

  Hi there,

  Is she receiving the invite email? Currently, there isn’t a WordPress.com account associated with either of the email addresses you mention. In order to view your blog, she will need to create a WordPress.com user account. Full instructions on inviting users to view your private blog can be found here:

  If you’re still having trouble, can you let me know a bit more about where you’re getting hung up? Does she not receive the initial email or is she unable to create an account?

  Many thanks for the response. I have sent her a number of invites and she tells me she has gone in and set up a WordPress account but then seems to get stuck. I might ask her to start again and send me screen shots of what she is doing. Thanks again

  Hi,

  Yes – screenshots could be very helpful so we can figure out exactly where in the process she’s getting stuck. I checked those email addresses again, and it doesn’t look like she’s had success signing up. Can you ask her to try creating a user account through the link here?

  It should just require a username, email address, and password. Then, you would just need to invite her by typing in the username she created.
